Sports Suck

Kirby Puckett died Monday after having a stroke. After he retired, he put on a lot of weight, and lost sight in his left eye. He had a full count going against him, and the last pitch he stroke out on.

“ Pacman” Jones had charges of assault and vandalism dismissed after he was accused of hitting a manager of a club, ripping a necklace off of someone, and using a racial slur after he was accused of using drugs in the club. The defense argued that “Pacman” was just taking power pellets.

A Southern Illinois cheerleader suffered a cracked vertebrae when she fell about 12 feet while doing a cheer. Doctors are optimistic, they expect her to make a full recovery and she should be blowing the football team in about 6 weeks.

Kerry Collins was one of the casualties of the NFL’s salary cap problems, and was released by the Oakland Raiders. Like most of his passes, he will probably end up with another team.

The Charlotte Hornets will return to New Orleans for the first time this season. Their new entrance music when announcing the starting lineup will be “Row Row Row Your boat”.
